The Nhulunbuy Corporation acknowledges and is aware of the ongoing outage to TV Channels 7, 9 and 10. This has been caused by damaged sustained to the TV Transmitters on Mt Saunders during heavy torrential rain early last week.
The Nhulunbuy Corporation has engaged specialist technicians from Queensland to assist in the repair of these transmitters. As soon as possible, they will perform an in-depth analysis and examination of the damage and prepare remediative action. Once this has been completed, we will be able to provide you a further update.
Please note, internet access is unaffected. Free-to-air television can continue to be viewed on streaming platforms such as 7plus, 9Now, Freeview and 10 Play.
