🙏 Please be advised that the end section of the Town Lagoon Nature Trail is closed until further notice.
🌧️ Recent high water levels have caused flooding in several areas of the trail, significantly increasing the risk of crocodile activity in and around the path. Community members are encouraged to continue enjoying the sections of the trail that remain open, whilst keeping an eye out for our not so friendly neighbours 🐊.
For your safety:
🛑Do not enter the closed sections of the trail
👀Supervise children at all times
🐕🦺 Keep dogs on a lead and well away from the water’s edge
🐊 Always stay Crocwise and assume crocodiles are present
👁️ We are actively monitoring the situation and will provide updates once water levels recede and the area is considered safe for public access.
