Electricity Meter Reads for Quarter 1 2023
The Nhulunbuy Corporation will be performing meter reads of all properties with an active electricity account with the Nhulunbuy Corporation. This is estimated to be completed by the first week of March. Please contact the Nhulunbuy Corporation on 08 8939 2200 if you would like to arrange a specific time for a meter read.
March Community Markets
The March Community Markets will take place in the Nhulunbuy Town Hall on the 11th of March, from 9AM to 12PM.
Boxing Workshops with Dream Impact Inspire
Dream Impact Inspire, Nhulunbuy Corporation and the Nhulunbuy Youth Council have collaborated to bring high school aged students Boxing Workshops. For 3 days (15th, 16th and 17th of February) 3 skilled instructors will be running 4 one-hour training sessions.
Clubs Day 2023
Clubs Day is held annually to allow not-for-profit clubs and associations to showcase themselves. This year, Clubs Day will be held on the 18th of February at the Town Hall.

Free waste vouchers ready for collection
The voucher system entitles residents living on the Nhulunbuy town lease to two waste disposal vouchers per year.

The final markets for 2022 will the Christmas Community Markets at the Nhulunbuy Town Hall, hosted by a wonderful team of volunteers from the Barra's Amateur Swimming Club.
Kerbside Collection 2022
It’s that time of year when the Nhulunbuy community needs to clear all that hard waste from around their properties in preparation for the cyclone season. Waste collection will occur on Monday November 21st through to Friday December 2nd, occurring on all weekdays.
Nhulunbuy Australia Day Awards for 2023
The Nhulunbuy Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year, Senior Citizen of the Year, Local Hero, and Community Event of the Year Awards recognise individuals and organisations that have made a noteworthy contribution to the Nhulunbuy community. Nominations received will be reviewed by the Nhulunbuy Town Board, with an award ceremony occurring on the 26th of January 2023.

Each year, 29th September holds a special significance for Police throughout Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Samoa and the Solomon Islands. Nhulunbuy Youth Council members Sophia Rogers and Deni Seaniger attended to remember police officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
Roll-out of Taggle Systems' smart metering solution and FAQ
The Nhulunbuy Corporation will be rolling out the Taggle Systems' smart water meters, starting from the 11th of October.
